Description

Saint George of Syvota (23 April), known by the Orthodox Church as the Great Martyr and Trophy-Bearer, is one of the most popular saints throughout the Christian world. The chapel above honours his memory and you will find it by following the road from Plataria to Syvota. It is a very beautiful and picturesque chapel situated in an ideal spot as it offers an unlimited view of the Ionian Sea, while on days with clear atmosphere, Corfu and Paxoi are clearly visible. Continuing from there you will find yourselves in the well-known Syvota!
